Mama’s Miso
A delicious Traditional Miso Soup with Mama’s twist.

Ingredients
  • 1.5qts brothChicker or Vegetable
  • 12cubes tofu1/2-inch cubes
  • 4tbsp MisoNaturally Fermented
  • 1cup shitake mushroomsdiced
  • 1 cup carrotsdiced
  • 1cup zuchinnidiced
  • 1 cup cabbageshredded
  • 1 bunch green onionor leaks
  • 2tbsp Mama Sattva’s Ghee
  • Peppercornto taste
  • ginger rootto taste
  • red peperdiced, to taste
Instructions
  1. In a skillet, add 1 tablespoon of Mama Sattva’s Ghee.
  2. Saute mushrooms with mineral salt.
  3. Add diced ginger root and fresh ground pepper.
  4. Add diced carrots and zucchini and remaining ghee
  5. Add chicken stock or vegetable stock and bring to a boil.
  6. Add remaining ingredients and simmer gently until vegetables are soft.
  7. whisk in miso paste (I like to dissolve the miso into 2 cups of water and then add the water.)
  8. Garnish with green onion or leeks.
